Groom Style

For grooms the idea of of pulling together a very special wedding look can be quite daunting! First of all there’s the suit. Hired, bought or made? Traditional or modern?

It’s becoming increasingly popular to go down the bespoke suite route. With prices reducing you can now have a suit made entirely to your taste for less than a premium off the peg designer suit. Mr B says that it’s important to have a good relationship with your tailor and start planning early.

Mr B remained faithful to his tried and tested Brighton tailor Hugo Morris. A beautiful three piece suite in light grey wool with contrasting lapel. It goes without saying he looked thoroughly dashing on the day!

Recent years have also seen a trend for grooms accessories. Silk ties, and Cufflinks are a must as well as a good watch. Button hole and silk hank are optional but in my view finish the look. Mr B of course wore his own label denisonboston. Oh and topped off with your wedding ring of course! Gents don’t be tempted by necklaces or leather gords with some sort of horn, tooth or rock attached and please please leave the friendship band at home!
